Go big or go home, that’s kind of the motto in our house. Along those same lines, we like to DIY on the cheap in our house. We will often pick up “oops” paint colors at the home improvement store, and then making do with the left over colors from our other painting projects to make something amazing. Well, our downstairs bathroom is no exception. And with the help of Cutting Edge Stencils, we now have an impressive and beautifully accented wall in what was once our very plain downstairs bathroom.
Our downstairs bathroom is a half bath. We have this cute white stand from Target, that I love. But it’s about the most exciting piece in that room. For awhile, I’ve been scouring Pinterest for some downstairs bathroom ideas, and had seen several uses of all over stencils. So impressive! But, could we pull that off in our house? One website that kept coming up was Cutting Edge Stencils. So I browsed around, and came upon the Sophia Trellis design. LOVE! And, it looked fairly “simple”. He does NOT like to paint, but he also knows that I am so NOT good at painting 🙂 Win for me, right?!
Since our bathroom was already painted a very light green color, we didn’t need to give it an all over coat. We took a short trip to the basement, and came back up with the Olympus Paint in . A few hours on a Saturday afternoon, and we ended up with this:
