Mickey Mouse’s birthday is November 18, and why not celebrate with some fun crafts and recipes? I first met Mickey Mouse when I was 16, on my first trip to Florida. Now, I can say I have seen Mickey in the Disney parks multiple times and sailed with him on Disney Cruise Line.
Every once in a while, I get a little crafty idea in my head, and I give it a try. I am so into monogrammed details, wooden letters, and personalizing almost anything. So, I came up with the Shadowbox Letter idea and went with it. Love! It was super easy, and seriously did not take me long at all!
Photo memories are my absolute favorite thing ever. Going back through old photos of our kids makes my heart happy. Now that the twins are teenagers, I find myself feeling a little more nostalgic about their childhood, and soaking up every moment I have with them. Before we know it, they’ll be out of the house.
Halloween is coming so soon! And we like to have a little Disney mixed in with our Halloween excitement. Pirates are a classic Halloween costume, right? And, we like to “BOO” our neighbors with fun treats on their doorsteps so I am often looking for cute little treats and easy ideas to add to the “BOO” package. This year, I created a Pirate Minnie Mouse popcorn box, AND I have so many other fantastic popcorn box ideas from my fellow blog friends. It’s time for the 2017 Popcorn Box Blog Hop and Giveaway! I am so super excited to be part of it again….it’s been a few years since I joined in with my BOO Wreath. The Minnie Mouse Popcorn Box is super simple, fun, and can be stuffed with your favorite treats!
Easy and cute Halloween costumes for kids are a must, aren’t they? My idea of a DIY Halloween costume for kids is using some heat transfer vinyl to decorate a t-shirt for my daughter. And while that isn’t all bad, I want to so badly be the mom who DIYs the Halloween costume, but sadly I never am. Maybe it’s because we have a fall birthday in our house, and I spend so much time DIY-ing party goods, that I just want to take the easy way and buy the Halloween costume. Are you the same? Or do you prefer to create easy and cute Halloween costumes for your kiddos? Maybe someday the DIY Halloween costume match will strike my fancy, but not yet. I hope to send you some inspiration for an easy and cute Halloween costume for your kids with these great ideas!

This Button Monogram Wall Hanging I created for my daughter’s room has to be one of the easiest projects I have done. Buttons and monograms are becoming my favorite things to craft with. Almost every room in our house has some sort of a monogram project-I’m starting to think I’m a little obsessed! My daughter’s room is slowly becoming my favorite room in our house. It is so bright, cheery, and you can for sure tell a princess lives in it! I created this Easy Button Monogram for her door, and it was so simple and fairly inexpensive. Best of all, there’s no sewing involved! The pattern and color possibilities are endless for this!
DIY Signs are so popular right now! I have to admit, now that I have created my DIY Farmhouse Style Welcome Sign, I want to make more! They bring such a homey look to your porch, or the interior of your home. I feel like they give it a cozy look, and with fall creeping up on us, who doesn’t want to feel cozy? Today, I have put together a collection of 10 DIY Signs that you can create for yourself, or as a gift!
I did it. I made a sign. Why is this big? Well, because it is just that-big. Aside from my Beach, Sun, Sand sign I made a few years ago for a friend, this is the largest project I have created with my Silhouette Cameo. And, paint and vinyl, they scare me. I see so many people posting that the paint was bleeding, or the vinyl wouldn’t stick, and on and on. So, I was a bit intimidated. But I wanted one of these farmhouse style “Welcome” signs so badly. Only one other house in our neighborhood has one, and I look at her porch with sign envy. Come to find out, it wasn’t hard, it wasn’t intimidating, and now I want to make more signs! I thought I would share it with you!
Tissue paper is such a fun medium to work with, and tissue paper crafts add so much pop to a party or decor. Last week, I shared my DIY Cupcake Pinatas. These featured tissue paper to create super cute and easy cupcake favor boxes. We are starting off the week on My Favorite Finds with 10-Tissue Paper Crafts that I have rounded up from some of my favorite bloggers! With tissue paper being so easy, pretty, and fairly inexpensive, these activities may keep you out of the summer heat and give you and your kiddos something to do! Enjoy!
