Displaying Kids’ Artwork

Hi! I’m Laura from Peace but Not Quiet. I write a lot about kids’ crafts and activities…and until a few months  ago, I displayed them all on a corkboard in our mudroom. Then my mom came to visit. And told me it was ugly (ok, she was actually a lot nicer than that…but that’s what she meant. I know my mother.)

So we set off to find a much prettier way to display the kids’ artwork.

We found a metal sculpture-picture-thingy at Hobby Lobby (similar). Then I picked up some pretty, patterned clothespins from Michaels (similar) and hung up everyone’s projects.

Yes, on the left is a printout from a 10k I ran a while ago. We’ve also been known to hang up papers from my husband’s work…everyone gets celebrated around here! And the artwork is easy to switch out as kids bring home new projects.

Happy summer, everyone! I’d love it if you’d pop by my blog and find me on facebook and twitter.
