Must Haves for a Christmas Coffee Bar

Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer from CoffeeMate.  This is an absolute MUST for our holiday flavors in our house.  I use it in coffee, desserts, glazes, etc.  I love how versatile it is and it the most flavorful of all the holiday creamer options. The crisp peppermint and chocolatey mocha flavors are so comforting and festive!

Sprinkles, melting chocolate, or cocoa powder.  Part of the fun of having a coffee bar is the fun additives!  We like to add some whipped cream to our mocha, and then sprinkle it with cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, or fun holiday themed candies.  Sometimes, I add some melting chocolate discs to my coffee for a smooth, chocolate flavor!

Christmas themed treats.  You can’t have Christmas coffee without a sweet treat!  Well, maybe you can.  But I cannot! I like to keep some Christmas Cookie Bars, classic Peanut Blossoms, and fun Christmas candies on hand to serve with my coffees.

Fun holiday cups.  We always have our favorite coffee cups.  I have a few Christmas themed cups that I keep in the cabinet until Christmas rolls around.   I always look forward to using these, and they make it extra festive!

Tips for Making a GREAT Coffee Bar

Keep your coffee hot! Keeping your coffee on the burner or in a hot beverage dispenser keeps it hot for your guests.  Also, you can make more than one pot and combine them in the dispenser. That way, you aren’t constantly at the coffee maker.

Keep it fun! Instead of using regular stirrers, make it festive.  Use chocolate coated spoons, candy canes, or swizzle sticks to stir your coffee.

Give your guests some variety. Offer them caffeinated and decaf coffee.  It is also nice to have a couple of different roasts, as not everyone likes their coffee super strong.
