Menu Plan {April 1}

I’ve been using Google calendar to manage our menus the last few weeks, and I am in LOVE with it!  I have our “Menu” calendar color coded with an aqua blue, and I’ve recently discovered that I can set the calendar to repeat the appointment. So, when I made our menu for this coming week, I set a few of the dishes to repeat in two weeks.  Voila!  My menu plan, in two weeks, will be partially planned already.

Why not set it so every dish repeats?  I want to have room to try new recipes, for leftovers, and for actives that pop up at a last minute’s notice.  I have it set to email me a reminder one day in advance, so I know what’s coming up and if I need to stop at the store to get anything last minute.  It’s so great!

Sunday:  Pizza Night

Monday:  Crockpot Pork Tenderloin/Broccoli

Tuesday:  Dinner @ Family for a Birthday

Wednesday:  Hamburgers/Homemade French Fries/ Salad

Thursday:  Breaded Garlic Chicken in Lemon Butter Sauce/Pasta/Green Beans

    That is SUCH a good idea. I have mine on a spreadsheet atm but since I can't get it from my phone, I'm always forgetting what I had planned!

    I'm going to check out Google calendar. Thanks for the tip 🙂

    Great idea to use Google calendar to plan meals! Make me wonder why I didn't ever think of it before.
    Thanks for the tip.

    I have been using google calendar for the past few months and love it! Everyone in our home can see the menu online anytime and I can easily change things around. It’s wonderful! I’m glad I’m not the only one who has discovered how great this is. Though I colour code with yellow…seemed important to point out, haha.
