This week, I’m starting two new link parties on my blog. Basically, a link party enables bloggers to link their posts up in one place. Link parties-like Tasty Tuesday and Menu Plan Monday-are where I get a lot of inspiration for recipes and meal planning.

The first link party I started this week is Must Try Mondays. For several weeks, I’ve been featuring a recipe that I feel is a “must try”, and have decided to open up a link party to fellow bloggers every week on Mondays. This is an opportunity for bloggers to share their favorite recipes with all the readers of My Favorite Finds.
If you would like to add a link, please click on the Must Try Mondays button on the sidebar. The only “rule” to link up, is that you link to My Favorite Finds in your post. To do so, just type “Linked to: My Favorite Finds”, or “Linked to: Must Try Mondays” at the bottom of your post. Then, highlight those words, click on “Link” and insert “http://www.myfavoritefinds.blogspot.com”. Super easy!

The second link party is Pinterest Favorites on Wednesdays. Since I joined Pinterest this past summer, I thought it would be fun to showcase some of my inspirtations, ideas, or actual crafts I’ve executed from inspiration on Pinterest. This is where bloggers can showcase their Pinterest favorites, crafts or projects they’ve been inspired to do, or anything they have found on Pinterest. For my posts, I often will showcase ideas I am inspired by for an upcoming project-this week’s was “Tutu Tutorials“, since I’ve pinned some ideas to make a tutu for my daughter’s birthday. You might even notice that I have a tab at the top of my blog where you can click on Pinterest Favorites, and you’ll be directed to a list of links from past posts. To link up your Pinterest finds, please include a link back to My Favorite Finds in your post. Also, you may link up as many as you would like.
So, why should you link up?
*It’s fun to see what other bloggers are writing about and what they’re finding.
*It allows traffic to your blog, and you might even make some “blogging friends”.
Note: Currently, my “blogging bestie” is Amy at One Artsy Mama. She’s made all the buttons on my blog, and I love them! Thanks Amy!
I hope you’ll join me for Must Try Mondays and Pinterest Favorites Wednesdays!
