Two websites came to my attention about the time I was ready to start hosting sponsors. They have been so very useful to me, easy to use, and I wanted to share them with you today.
*Love how easy it is to have sponsors upload their own ad designs to My Favorite Finds
*They keep track of how long ads run, but as a blogger I can extend ads if I want to
*They pay you every Friday and only keep a small portion of your sales
*When you log in, you are shown where you have placed ads before, and how much time you have remaining before you can renew your ad on a particular blog.
*Setting up promo codes is easy peazy. I LOVE this because when people win ad space on my blog, I can send them a one time, personal promo code and they take it from there.
*Setting up you ad spots is beyond easy, too. I can also alter easily how many ads of a certain size can run, prices, etc. Then they give you a piece of HTML to embed where you want your ads to appear, and where you want your advertising details to show on your blog.
*Just by logging into my Passionfruit account, I can access so much information. As a person who has bought ads through Passionfruit and one who hosts sponsors, it’s a win win.
*Passionfruit shows the buyer that spots are booked or open, and when their ad will start. As a blogger, I love this because sometimes I’ll buy ad space, knowing it won’t start for a few weeks. That gives me time to get my intro post together, communicate with the blogger hosting my ad, and decide on a giveaway.
*LOVE the free use of this site.
*I was using random.org, which is great. But when you have 300 entries to put in to that site, it was taking forever! Now, I just log in, click on “Choose a Winner” and it’s done for me!
*I like how easy it is to use as a person who likes to enter giveaways.
*You can choose how many ways you want people to enter, and add links to blogs, FB pages, Etsy shops, etc.
*It saves you from reading through a ton of comments and takes the pressure off of choosing the winner yourself.
*I appreciate that when I login, I can see how many entries are in, how much longer the giveaway will be running, and ones that are coming up.
What blogging tools do you find most helpful? Have you had good, bad, indifferent experiences with either Passionfruit or Rafflecopter?
