Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coffee Syrup

Peanut Butter and chocolate is by far my favorite flavor combination.  It should come as no surprise to you that I am loving {well, really I’m obsessed with} the International Delight® Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup creamer. So why not make a peanut butter and chocolate syrup to add to the already amazing flavors of coffee, peanut butter, and chocolate, right?!

For me, coffee is a treat that comes around when the weather gets cooler, and all the rich flavors of fall set in. Let’s just say, I like coffee with my creamer!  Anyone else? Today I want to share my recipe for a delicious, decadent peanut butter and chocolate syrup that you can add right into your coffee, drizzle on top, or both!

Ingredients for Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coffee Syrup

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/3 cup International Delight® Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup

1/4 cup honey

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

How to Make Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coffee Syrup

Step 1: Place the cocoa, creamer, and honey in a small saucepan. Whisk it all together over medium heat until it is well blended. Your cocoa should be completely dissolved, and it should thicken.

Step 2: Remove from the heat, and add the vanilla.  Stir well, and set aside to cool.

From here, you can do so much with it! I topped my favorite coffee with some whipped cream, drizzled on the peanut butter and chocolate syrup, and added a few mini chocolate chips. What an afternoon treat! Since I work from home, I allow myself a small, delicious afternoon treat a few days a week to keep me going until the kiddos get home!

Delicious.

Amazing.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate…..and coffee!

I had seen some friends post that the International Delight Reese’s 32 oz. Creamer was hitting their local Meijer.  I feverishly checked ours, and there it was in the dairy case, begging me to take it home! I love the seasonal flavors from International Delight. They make the fall days so much brighter, right? Using coffee creamer in this recipe, instead of a milk or whipping cream, gives it just the right texture, and a little added flavor. Even better, it seems to be in my local store year round.  So that is a win! Could you imagine a homemade frappuccino or iced coffee with this?! So good!
