Valentine’s Day Wreath

Those rainy, gray winter days are no fun! But, when you have a pretty wreath on your front door, it brightens up your space inside and out! I created this cute wreath using some ribbon and glitter to decorate our front door, and keep the winter blues away!

I love going into my craft room, and seeing what I can create.  Sometimes, it is a total dumpster fire and I am discouraged because I can’t create anything. OR, I need just one more supply and I don’t have it on hand.  One thing I love to make is wreaths. They are so easy, and you can put together something pretty with whatever you have on hand! Today, I am sharing my Ribbon and Glitter Wreath.  This wreath gives some glitz to your front door, and is even perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Ribbon, glitter, and flowers make this pretty Valentine's Day wreath for your front door! #valentinesday #diy #homedecor

What do you need to make a front door wreath?

Supplies:

*Mod Podge

*T-pins

*Foam wreath form

*Coordinating Ribbon

*Address numbers

*Glitter, flowers, other embellishments

How to create a pretty front door wreath:

1.  Coat your address numbers with a thin coat of Mod Podge and shake some glitter on them.

2.  While the numbers are drying, secure an end of your ribbon into your wreath form with a T-pin.  From here, continue wrapping your ribbon around your form in any pattern you like.  As you reach the end of your ribbon length, secure it with a T-pin and start again with the next ribbon spool.  Continue this until you have covered your entire wreath form.

3.  Now that the glitter is dry on the numbers, adhere them to your wreath.  Mine came with a super sticky backing, but you could hot glue them if you need to.

4.  Add some flowers, buttons, etc. to finish off the wreath.

It really can’t be easier!  And with so many fun ribbon patterns to choose from you could really make a gorgeous wreath!
