It’s game time!  As the football season comes to an end, we are all ready to cheer on our favorite team during the big game, right?  And what is a party without some savory AND sweet food on the table?  I am the kind of hostess who appreciates great food, but isn’t afraid to incorporate easy foods into my menu.  I also need to be able to find all the ingredients in one place, like my local Walmart.  Today I want to share with you two great additions to your game day table with Coca Cola and Ritz Crackers.  First up, I’m going to share my Savory BBQ Coke Shredded Beef Sliders!

Savory BBQ Coke Sliders

Ingredients:

2-3 pound beef chuck roast

Honey BBQ Sauce {use your favorite brand!}

1 can, 12 ounces, Coca Cola

Seasoned Salt

Slider buns

Directions:

Place the roast in the crockpot and cover one side generously with seasoned salt.  Add half a bottle of your BBQ sauce and the 12 ounces of coke.  Set to low, and cook 10-12 hours.  Your house will smell amazing!  About 20 minutes before serving, remove the meat and shred.  Drain the crockpot of most of the juice, and place the meat back in it.  Set to warm or low to serve.  Fill your sliders with this savory meat for the perfect sandwich on your game day table!

Ritz and Coke

Now it’s time for the sweet.  And if you’ve been around My Favorite Finds long enough, you know it’ll encompass my two favorite flavors of all time~peanut butter and chocolate!  Yes!!!  These cute little chocolate dipped Ritz crackers, filled to the brim with peanut butter, are the perfect little snack for later in the game.  Let me tell you~they are so addictive!  And, what I love, is that you can add your favorite team colors with sprinkles.  Plus, I was able to get all the ingredients I needed at Walmart!

Ritz Peanut Butter and Chocolate Snackers

Ingredients:

Two sleeves Ritz Crackers

Melting chocolate {I prefer milk chocolate}

Peanut Butter

Sprinkles

Place the peanut butter between two crackers to make sandwiches.  Repeat until you have used both sleeves of crackers.  Melt the chocolate discs according to the package directions.  Drop the Ritz cracker sandwiches in the melted chocolate and get them nice and coated!  Lay them on a piece of wax or parchment paper to harden.  Before they harden, sprinkle the tops with your favorite team colors.
