Since Matthew and Lucas’s birthday is Febraury 15th, I always sign up to bring the Valentine’s Day Party treat bags for their classroom. I think it makes it a little extra special for their birthday, instead of me just sending in plates and cups. I take the “easy” way out for the other parties…but I want their birthday month to be special, so treat bags it is.
Here is what I came up with this year:
*Bookmarks (You can download the bookmark I created here)
I punched a hole in the center of the bookmark top and tied a curly ribbon through it to add a little flair
I bought the pencils, pencil grippers, and candy for $5.50 total at Target. The brown bags, ingredients for the playdough, and the cardstock for the bookmarks I had on hand at home. I made 22 bags, so it is a very economical way to make goodie bags for a large group of kids.
For the bags:
*Printable Bag Toppers
*Zip loc bags (cut the “zip” part off, put the playdough in, tie with a red ribbon)
*Brown paper lunch bags
I printed off the bag toppers, wrote the students’ names on them, folded down the top and stapled the bag top on. I printed the bag toppers on cardstock, but looking back I think they would have turned out fine on regular printer paper. I think they turned out very cute. Happy Valentine’s Day! XO XO
