Is it winter where you live?  I mean, the bitter cold, snowing, don’t want to leave the house for ANYTHING, gray days of winter?  Even though winter is not my favorite time of year-I’m more of a flip flops and sunglasses kind of girl-there is still the need to pretty up my home and make it cozy while we wait out the cold.

We are starting off the New Year here on A Princess and Her Pirates with a collection of easy winter decor ideas.  How do you decorate for winter?

Hey Carrie, I love reading about new trends. I am really pleased to see that the floral patterns are coming back, I do like them and this wreath on the door gate. I love this post. Thanks for posting this.
