1900 Park Fare Breakfast ~ The Perfect Disney Dining Experience for the Whole Family

1900 Park Fare has become one of our Disney “must dos”.  We absolutely love this location for breakfast. By “we”, I mean my entire family!  Our children range in age from 14 to 7, so if 1900 Park Fare is a place we all like to dine for breakfast at Walt Disney World, you know it’s a winner!

We have made 1900 Park Fare our traditional pre-cruise breakfast.  We stay on Disney property the night before we disembark on our Disney cruises.  This makes the morning of embarkation a waiting game…waiting for the Disney Cruise Line bus to come and pick us up to go to Port Canaveral.  To use our time wisely, get a good meal, and enjoy a little Disney magic, we book a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.  1900 Park Fare is at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  That means a monorail ride! We typically book our breakfast for an earlier time, so we can make it back to our resort to catch our DCL transfers.

My children love 1900 Park Fare for a variety of reasons.  First, the food is great.  My son is a huge omelet snob.  He specifically asks to eat at 1900 Park Fare because he loves the omelets.  So cute!  He’s 14…he doesn’t do a lot of cute stuff.  But I love that he requests 1900 for the omelets.   His twin, who could live on Mickey waffles for his entire life, loves it as well.  The beauty of this character dining location is the buffet with so many options.  Me, I love the juice.  I don’t know what is in the juice at ‘Ohana and 1900 Park Fare, but I love it.  It is sort of a guava, orange concoction.  I LOVE it.  Another thing that makes it friendly for our family is the buffet has classic breakfast offerings, as well as some  unique ones.

Second, you can’t go wrong with the character interaction.  This is why my 7-year old daughter loves 1900 Park Fare, or any character dining experience.  I know that one day, she will not be into character dining, so I want to take it while I can get it!  1900 Park Fare hosts Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, and Mary Poppins.  Not gonna lie, I come here for the character interaction, too.  I love a good conversation with Mary Poppins herself.  Plus, the twins think the Mad Hatter is hysterical.  Even at 14, they still get a good laugh out of him.   Since the characters come around to visit at your table, it makes it relaxed and easy to enjoy your food without having to worry about standing in line. More recently, Alice has been greeting guests after their meal, as you exit the restaurant.

Third, the ambiance is wonderful.  It is such a bright, cheery environment at 1900 Park Fare. I feel like it is easy to navigate to and from the buffet, no matter where you are sitting. Also, the Grand Floridian is one of my favorite Disney resorts.  Not only have we stayed here twice, I make it a point to go over there to eat, as well.   We have always had an amazing experience at 1900 Park Fare.  I highly encourage you to visit!
