Best Ways to Celebrate at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando is a magical place to celebrate a special occasion! With four immersive theme parks, exclusive experiences, and fantastic dining, celebrating is easy at Universal Orlando. While just a trip to Universal Orlando by itself is a reason to celebrate, maybe you have found that your dates line up with a special occasion or milestone! So, today I have put together my list of ways to celebrate at Universal Orlando Resort!

With a little guidance and some pre planning, you can create a fantastic & memorable celebration during your time at the Universal Orlando Resort. Let’s take a look at some fun ways to celebrate!

Obtain a Celebration button

Yes, Universal Orlando has these, too! They aren’t just found at the park down the street. When you arrive at a theme park or your Universal Orlando onsite resort, ask for one! Then, wear it around the parks. They can’t celebrate you if they don’t know you have something to celebrate! Wearing this will at minimum get you some well wishes as you make your way through the parks. You never know what might happen above and beyond the well wishes!

Also, make sure your button is visible when meeting characters throughout the parks and while at the shows. Maybe you will get a special shout out!

Fun fact: Visit the Mystic Fountain at Universal’s Island of Adventure. While here, tell the fountain you are celebrating something. From there, get ready for water squirts, music, and even some fun comments! Or, wear it into Ollivander’s, and maybe you’ll get selected for the wand ceremony!

Enjoy an amazing meal at one of the Citywalk or Universal Orlando Restaurants

Our favorite way to celebrate around our house is with a meal. This goes the same when we are on a trip! Be sure to note on the reservation and when you arrive at the restaurant that you are celebrating something. There are so many great locations to have a fantastic meal. My favorite restaurants at Universal Orlando are:

Book a cabana at Volcano Bay

Universal’s Volcano Bay is not “just a waterpark”. It is an immersive theme park, against a gorgeous setting with stellar food. Guests can rent a cabana at Universal’s Volcano Bay for an unforgettable experience. This private hideaway gives you a place to land, and relax, while you spend the day at Volcano Bay. Have a Butterbeer Day

Did you know that Butterbeer comes in six or more different formats? Why not devote a day to try them all? My personal favorite is the ice cream variety. But, take some time to visit the Wizarding World and try some for yourself! You can find Butterbeer cold, frozen, or hot, and in potted cream, ice cream, fudge, and most recently–crepes.
