Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom is the utmost princess experience at Walt Disney World. This experience allows little girls to truly be transformed into princesses, and creates magical memories for the whole family.
Magic Kingdom is our absolute favorite park at Walt Disney World. Cinderella’s Castle, Main Street USA, and all the whimsy of the entire park make us truly feel as if we are in a whole new world. Having enjoyed the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on all three of our Disney Cruise Line sailings, we know how magical the experience can be! When traveling to Walt Disney World, booking an experience at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makes a great addition to your plans!
Booking an Appointment for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Booking an appointment for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is key. They do take walk ups, but those are very rare so it’s best to book an appointment. These can be booked on-line, and open for booking 60-days in advance. To book this, you want to visit the “Enchanting Extras” tab on the My Disney Experience website.
As with Disney Dining Reservations, you do need a credit card to guarantee your reservation. However, you do not actually pay for the experience until you arrive.
Package Options at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
When you are booking your appointment, you do not choose a package at booking. They will have several packages to choose from when you arrive. Sample packages include:
- The Carriage Package ~ makeup, face gems, nail polish, a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique tshirt, a sash, a cinch sack, and a hairstyle of your choice.
- The Castle Package ~ A princess gown, necklace, accessories, make up, nail polish, face gems ,a sash, a cinch sack, and a hairstyle.
- The Deluxe Castle Package ~ A DELUXE princess gown, boxed accessory set, make up, nail polish, face gem, princess necklace, sash, cinch sack, hairstyle, and more.
- The Knight Package ~ a hair style, sword, shield and confetti
- The Deluxe Knight Package ~ a costume, hairstyle, sword, and shield
The CARRIAGE PACKAGE is your basic makeover package, and they go up from there as far as price and inclusions. We always choose this one at booking, and then decide on arrival if we are upgrading or not. Keep in mind, you may bring your own princess dress or fancy dress, and you do not need to buy one at the shop.
Know Before You Go
First, make sure you reserve early. This is CURRENTLY the only Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location open at Walt Disney World. There are two others ~ one at Disney Springs and one at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa ~ but they remain unopened. So it is VERY hard to get reservations at this location.
Guests check in for the boutique right behind Cinderella’s Castle. This is where you check in, choose your package, etc. Then, a Fairy Godmother in Training will be assigned to your child, and lead you to the castle, where the transformation takes place.
Children need to be age 3 at the minimum for this experience. They are very strict about this and the maximum age of 12. It’s a VERY special experience at 12, if your daughter still wants to go to the boutique. They made a huge deal out of my daughter being 12, and naming her a “Forever Princess”. I was seriously crying. It was amazing. So magical!
The child my be accompanied by up to 2 adults to observe. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom is very small, so it gets crowded if too many want to watch.
Plan at least an hour for the experience. If you are planning a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table after, give yourself plenty of time. The boutique can run behind, and you do not want to be rushed.
Quick Tips:
If you have a particular princess dress in mind, bring your own. There is no guarantee they will have the princess dress she is dreaming of, OR that it will be in her size. If you want to avoid disappointment, and save yourself a little money, bring your own.
When visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the summer, consider the weather. It can be SO hot, and those princess dresses are pretty toasty. We like to book the Carriage Package and wear a cute princess themed tshirt. It’s also easier to get on and off the attractions without a poofy princess dress. However, they make for great photos. So, consider bringing a bag to store your dress in after photos or a visit at Princess Fairytale Hall.
Visit Sir Mickey’s after your appointment. Tucked back in the shop is a photo studio, and it is FREE. You can visit after your makeover, and they will take tons of photos. Even better, these photos will be added to your MemoryMaker account! MemoryMaker photographers will also be in the makeover area, taking photos of the whole process!
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be very popular first thing in the morning. Many are trying to get into the park before official opening, and an early breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Choosing an off time to visit is a great idea, and allows you to get out of the Florida heat for an hour or so.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Experience is Magical
The entire process starts after you choose your package and you are led to a magical dressing room. The Fairy Godmother appears in the magic mirror, and talks to your child. It is SO cute, and starts the experience off in a very magical way!
As your child is being made over, the Fairy Godmother in Training talks to her the whole time. This is such a fun conversation to listen to! One thing I also love is your daughter’s back is to the mirror the whole time. This way, she is truly surprised when she is turned around! And, you can be prepared to catch the look on her face with your camera.
After the hair and make up are finished, the Fairy Godmother in Training asks your daughter to close her eyes and make a wish, all the while being sprinkled with pixie dust! This is great moment to get on video! After this, have your camera ready because your daughter is turned to face the mirror and see her sweet transformation!
Do you think your daughter would love a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? It is truly a unique experience, and one that is a “must” for any princess obsessed girl. There are so many ways to make it special, and keep it budget friendly. The Fairy Godmothers in Training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will make it amazing!

Awe so sweet! I love that you had this experience with your sweet girl! No girls for me…
Thank you!
I’m so glad you got to have this experience! I do wish they’d update the looks they do in the Boutique though; I always thought the bun with the hair hanging around it looked funny. haha
That is the one my daughter loves. She loves those long, colorful hairpieces!
I always wish I had a little girl when I see Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique photos. So darn cute!
Thanks! It is so fun!
I have read some blog posts lately that say there is a pirate makeover available there as well- is it in the same spot?
The pirate makeover is at the Pirates League. It is at Magic Kingdom, but it is in Adventureland and the boutique is in Fantasyland.
