Creating unique, fun pumpkins for our Halloween decor is one of my favorite things! Pumpkins add a punch of fall, and you can even move them from Halloween to Thanksgiving! You’ll find lots of creative pumpkin ideas right here!
Creating cute pumpkins doesn’t have to be messy or difficult! I am sure you have seen SO many intricate ideas, stencils, and very detailed pumpkin ideas on Pinterest. I certainly have! Carving pumpkins is not my thing….I leave that to my husband. He likes me to roast the seeds, so he can do the dirty work and carve! I prefer a glue gun, maybe some paint, and some creativity!
There are SO many no-carve pumpkin decorating ideas out there. On the flip side, there are a TON of free, downloadable carving templates if you want to go that route. You can do anything with the blank slate of a pumpkin! Add some polka dots, some succulents, even just pour some paint over them and see where it goes! Whether you like detailed or easy, or both, I have A LOT of great ideas for you.
It amazes me how pumpkins can turn an ordinary space into something cozy and and warm. Like an instant invitation to fall! I love adding a few real pumpkins to our front porch. But then gracing my mantel with pumpkin topiaries and fabric ones I have found at Target.
