Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Disney’s Beach Club Resort ranks WAY at the top of my list as one of my favorite Disney Resorts.  I know, I say that about every resort we have enjoyed!  The Beach Club stands out to me in terms of location, theming, and the amazing pool.  Today, I want to share my thoughts on this Disney Resort with you!

Staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort? Then you will want to read all these tips and tricks!

Resort Location & Amenities:

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is located in the Epcot area.  This is something we LOVE about the Beach Club.  Guests can walk, boat, or take the Skyliner to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot.  Epcot is more like a hop, skip, and jump….you are that close.  Disney’s Hollywood Studios is about a 12 minute walk.  You can also walk to the Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf course.  This makes for a very fun activity on a “down day”, when your family wants something fun to do, and you aren’t planning a day at the parks.

Stormalong Bay is, in my opinion, one of the top Walt Disney World Resort pools on property.  It is definitely more than just a pool.  Stormalong Bay has the tallest waterslide of all the resort pools, and it is shaped like a shipwrecked pirate ship.  There is a section of the pool that is sand bottom, and even a small area where you can build sandcastles. It also has a section that is a lazy river.  We loved it!  There are quiet pools at the Beach Club, but we spent a lot of time at Stormalong Bay.  If you decide to stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, be sure to work a day in to enjoy the pool!

Resort Dining Options & Room Information:

The dining at the Beach Club is amazing, as well.  Because of it’s location on the Boardwalk, there are WAY more dining options at your fingertips than some of the other resorts.  We found their Quick Service Dining Location, the Beach Club Marketplace, to have great options.  Also, lunch at Beaches and Cream is not to be missed.  We enjoyed the walk up window at Beaches and Cream to get afternoon ice cram treats.  It is more than just “grab and go”, they actually make some of the sundaes and other ice cream creations in the to go area.  Cape May Cafe is home to breakfast with Minnie and her friends, as well as an amazing seafood buffet for dinner.  It also has lounges, and a signature restaurant~The Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Most rooms at the Beach Club sleep five guests with two queens and a convertible sofa bed.  We have enjoyed concierge level at the Beach Club. This allows guests access to a lounge, customized itinerary planning, and turn down service.  Club Level is amazing, and I would definitely recommend it.  Our view of Spaceship Earth was pretty cool, too!  Since we were on Club Level, we had keyed access to the floor, as well as access to a lounge.  The lounge serves breakfast, snacks, appetizers, and desserts daily.  It also has drink stations, as well as a refrigerator stocked with alcohol, soda, and water.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.  Having stayed at the Boardwalk Inn, as well, I feel as if both of these resorts give you a great experience AND proximity to all the Disney parks. Do you think you will be staying there on a future trip?

I had a great time at the Beach Club. The best part was walking home from dinner in the World Showcase every night!
