We just moved into a new house, and that means organizing!  As much as I dislike packing and unpacking, I LOVE the fresh start that comes from a new home, the purging, and the reorganizing.  And then I remember, my two “organizationally challenged” teenage boys share a bathroom in our new home.  Suddenly the word “organize” takes on a whole new meaning.  Today, I’m going to share Five Tips for Organizing Your Child’s Bathroom with you!  Simple, easy ways to make it functional, fun, and easy for everyone!

Only store the necessities.  I have found with my two boys, the simpler the better.  That means essentials, like Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® (Mega Rolls), extra body wash, and towels belong in their bathroom.  I don’t store anything under their sink that isn’t pertinent to them.   It really helps keep things simple, and easy to get to.

Keep the theme going, even out of sight.  We are starting this bathroom with a nautical theme…..more to come on that soon!  Anyway, while I was picking up Quilted Northern at Target, I found this super cute woven basket.  It is perfect to store the toilet paper under the sink.  It holds a whole package of Quilted Northern mega rolls.

Use functional and easy to store items.  The sides of the woven basket for the Quilted Northern are super flexible, and that makes it easy to store something like toilet paper in it.   I also found a sturdy plastic bin for their washcloths and hand towels, keeping them handy for washing those teenage faces!   And, the cute woven white basket is shallow enough they can easily see what is in it….but also deep enough that the items stand nicely in it.

Keep it well stocked.  It seems like they go through more toilet paper and body wash than any normal person.  So something like Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® (Mega Rolls), with 4xs more sheets and and the 4 in 1 mega roll are designed to give us more toilet paper.  That means less trips to the store! And if I REALLY need it, I can set up Target’s subscription service and have it sent right to my door each month!

Give your kids ownership of their organization.  When we get back from the store, it is up to the boys to put their bathroom items away.  The more organized I can make it for them from the beginning, the easier it is for them to put the Quilted Northern, body wash, hand soap, and other necessities away.  Plus, when Target has a great Cartwheel offer for Quilted Northern, that means I am coming home with more to stock up!  Make sure to add this Target Cartwheel offer to save on your next purchase of Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong Mega Rolls.

It seems like out of sight is out of mind with my three kids! I’d love to work on getting more things under the sink and fewer things on the counters.
