Peanut Butter M&Ms Harvest Bars
Fall is getting closer! That means that I’m ready to do some fall baking….I am so ready to get out the hot apple cider, pumpkin, spices, and fall colors! I found these super cute fall themed M&Ms at Wal Mart last week, and I was super excited to see that the fall themed M&Ms came in the Peanut Butter flavor! We all know how much I like peanut butter and chocolate! So, I decided to make some Peanut Butter M&Ms Harvest Bars. Won’t these look so fun at your fall or Halloween parties? The fall colored M&Ms are adorable! And how cute is the M&M on the package, all in her scarf and sipping her coffee? I’m going to pretend that she’s drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte :).
Peanut Butter M&Ms Harvest Bars
Ingredients:
8 cups puffed peanut butter/chocolate cereal {I used Reese’s Puffs}
1 16 oz bag Peanut Butter M&Ms
1 11 oz bag marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups melting chocolate discs
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, over low to medium heat, melt the butter and peanut butter. Stir occasionally, until they are smooth. Add the marshmallows, and continue stirring until they are melted and everything is well combined.
2. In a large bowl, coat the cereal with the marshmallow mixture. Add about 1 cup of the M&Ms to the mixture. Using waxed paper, press evenly into a greased 9×13 pan.
3. Melt the chocolate discs, and drizzle over the bars. Sprinkle the rest of the Peanut Butter M&Ms on tops. Allow the bars to set up before serving.
Yum! And how easy is that! I guarantee, your family will LOVE these Loaded Peanut Butter Harvest Bars! They will be the perfect treat for after school, or after a night of trick or treating!
These are amazingly rich, but oh so good! They are the perfect post-trick or treating treat!
Both things look awesome! Pinning this for later!
Oh my! This is a MUST make! Peanut butter and chocolate are my favorite loves!
