Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Cape May Cafe is the home of Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast, and is a fantastic character dining experience for everyone in your family! When it comes to booking character meals, finding one with good food AND really good character interaction isn’t always easy to find, but this one certainly does! I am excited to share my thoughts on Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort with you today!
Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast Location
Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast takes place at Cape May Cafe, inside Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The Beach Club is located in the EPCOT area of Walt Disney World. With Cape May’s resort location, this makes it a GREAT character breakfast when you have a “no park day” during your Walt Disney World trip. Cape May is located in the main lobby of Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
I also think it is great for an early breakfast on departure day. Should you choose to dine at Cape May on a park day, heading to EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios makes the most sense, since you are just a walk, boat ride, or Skyliner trip away from either park. Since Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a destination in and of itself, planning a breakfast with Minnie and friends is a great way to spend a resort day!
What Characters are at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast?
At Cape May Cafe, your family will interact with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald. This is a good character dining experience when your family wants to see the classic characters. The character interaction here is always wonderful! In our experience, they often visit our table more than once. Plus, it is a good introduction to characters when you have kids who may be shy around them.
Minnie Mouse, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy are dressed in their beachy best attire! They are reminiscent of the bygone, Eastern seaside days. They will make their way to your table, and are ready to sign autographs and pose for phoots!
This is one of those Disney character dining experiences that seems to not be as popular, so it ends up being less crowded. This is one that is fairly “easy” to get when booking dining 180-days in advance. Or, even if you need a last minute reservation, you can typically find a time at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast. It’s a low-key, fun way to see some of your favorite Disney characters in a relaxed environment.
Food & Experience at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast
Minnie’s Beach Bash is only served during breakfast. It is buffet style, and the buffet is centralized in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is really nice, and the buffet is easy to navigate. It is set up as a large square in the middle of the room, so you can access it from all sides.
They offer over 44 breakfast options on the buffet. Mickey waffles, fruit, omelet station, eggs, potatoes, pastries, cereal, etc. And most importantly, that amazing POG juice that they serve. I am seriously addicted to that! I love that the server will bring a carafe of the juice to our table. Breakfast is served from 7:30-11AM daily, and is all you care to eat. This makes it an AWESOME breakfast option for everyone in your family!
I appreciate the laidback, easy experience of Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast. Some character dining locations, the characters parade around, or they play music, etc. Cape May is so magical, but so calm and enjoyable.
In our experience, this has been one of the most enjoyable character dining experiences at Walt Disney World. The food is excellent, the characters are fun, and it is worth a trip to check out Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Will you be experiencing Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast on a future trip?

This looks like so much fun! I love their outfits!!
Love the idea of doing a character breakfast on departure day!!! It’s a nice send off, and still something to look forward to on an otherwise ‘sad’ day!!! This is on my to do list for our 2020 trip now!
Wow, this looks like so much fun! It’s one of the only character breakfasts that we haven’t tried yet but I think that needs to change 🙂
Thank you! It is so much fun! I hope you try it soon!
