A Magical Breakfast Experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table has long been on my Walt Disney World “bucket list.”  There had to be something about eating in Cinderella’s Royal Castle, right?  It is one of the most coveted ADRs guests can make, it is a regal experience, you can dine with royalty….so surely there must be something amazing in there, right?  Absolutely!  I took our Mommy and Me Disney trip as the perfect time to experience Cinderella’s Royal Table with our 7 year old, and it was fantastic!  I’m going to share some tips and our experience with you today.

When we entered Cinderella’s Royal Table, we immediately felt like royalty.  Upon entering the castle, you are treated to a photo and autograph opportunity with Cinderella.  Since we were there at the beginning of November, the Christmas tree was set up in the meet and greet area, which made it extra special.  We had our photo taken and our tote bag signed, and then we were directed to ascend the winding staircase up to the dining area.

We had THE best seat in the house!  We were at a table for two, centrally located in the restaurant against the windows. We had a perfect view of Fantasyland, and Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel.  It was amazing!  Our server brought us drinks and a fruit and pastry platter to munch on while we waited for our food.  I ordered the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast and my daughter had Mickey waffles and fruit.  The Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast was FANTASTIC!

As the princesses come out, there is an announcement over the speakers, sharing a short story about each one.  And when she enters the room, she makes her rounds amongst the tables for photo opportunities and autographs.  

The character interaction at Cinderella’s Royal Table was amazing.  Each one spent a nice bit of time at our table, talking to Princess Natalie and wishing her a Happy Birthday.  We saw Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora, and Ariel.  Plus if you count Cinderella at the beginning, that is five princesses.  Since there was just the two of us, we were on our way in about an hour, to enjoy the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom.

We scheduled this for a pre park opening breakfast.  Our time was 8:50AM, and we were at the Magic Kingdom gates and in the park by 8:25.  This gave us time to get some cute pre park opening photos, and a little extra pixie dust.  As we were walking into the park, a Castmember asked my daughter to close her eyes and hold out her hand.  

They gave her some fresh made cotton candy!  By now, the Christmas tree on Main Street USA was up, so we took a few minutes to get some photos in front of it, and along Main Street as we made our way to Cinderella’s Castle.

The service and character interaction at Cinderella’s Royal Table were fantastic.  All along, I thought Akershus Royal Banquet Hall was just as good as an experience as the Royal Table, but I’ve totally changed my mind.  If you can’t get into the Royal Table, Akershus is a great experience and a wonderful alternative.  However, there is nothing like eating in the castle.  It is a Magic Kingdom must do!
