Peach Blueberry Sangria

Peach, blueberry, and wine.  Three of my favorite flavors.  How about you?  They all come together so nicely in this Peach Blueberry Sangria that is sooo easy to make.  And trust me, when it’s hot outside, you’ll want this yummy treat!  Plus, who doesn’t love a little {or a lot} of wine now and then?!  When we were driving home from South Carolina, we stopped to get some fresh fruit at a local roadside stand.

Peach Blueberry Sangria-peaches, blueberries, and a chilled bottle of Moscato. Yum!

We left there with 2 quarts of blueberries, and a WHOLE BOX of peaches.  Kid you not, there must’ve been over 75 peaches in this box.   What was I to do with all of them?!  I’ve always wanted to make sangria, and thought this would be the perfect time.

Peach-Blueberry Sangria {from Sarah’s Cucina Bella}

Ingredients:

5 ripe peaches, rinsed, peeled, and diced

1 cup blueberries

1 bottle Moscato {chilled}

Add all the above ingredients to a pitcher and stir.  It’s best if you add chilled wine, so you can drink it right away.  We mixed ours up mid morning, and let it chill in the refrigerator until dinner time.  The best part, is eating the wine-soaked fruit!  Yum!!
