Sensational Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dessert· Recipes

9 Aug

I am not sure I can have too many chocolate chip cookie recipes in my arsenal.  How about you?  I feel like once I try one recipe, I want to make it better. Plus, add in the peanut butter to anything chocolate, and I turn into a total cookie monster.  If you haven’t noticed, I have a Peanut, Peanut Butter & CHOCOLATE. I am slightly {read OVERLY} obsessed with that combination. I don’t even think I can make just plain chocolate chip cookies anymore! I love peanut butter and chocolate so much, sometimes it eat if off a spoon. Peanut butter, topped with some chocolate chips, and I’m happy. It’s not good…or at least not for my waistline.  So let’s get baking!

Sensational Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

3/4 cup softened butter

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup smooth peanut butter

2 eggs

1 T vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 t baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 bag milk chocolate chips {I use Nestle}

Directions:

Heat your oven to 350.

In your mixing bowl, with your paddle attachment fitted to the mixer, combine the butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, and peanut butter.

Next, add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.  Mix until well combined.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  Gently flatten each one with your fingers, or the back of a fork.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until slightly brown.  Cool on a wire rack.

Delish, right?  And, these are ginormous cookies, which makes them even better in my opinion!  I think these would be absolutely perfect with a nice scoop of ice cream in the middle for an ice cream sandwich.

Beware, they are SO addicting.  You will not be one bit disappointed that you made them….nor will your family….if you are able to save them any!  You may end up eating them all!

[…] Peanut Butter and chocolate is by far my favorite flavor combination.  It should come as no surprise to you that I am loving {well, really I’m obsessed with} the International Delight® Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup creamer. So why not make a peanut butter and chocolate syrup to add to the already amazing flavors of coffee, peanut butter, and chocolate, right?! For me, coffee is a treat that comes around when the weather gets cooler, and all the rich flavors of fall set in. Let’s just say, I like coffee with my creamer!  Anyone else? Today I want to share my recipe for a delicious, decadent peanut butter and chocolate syrup that you can add right into your coffee, drizzle on top, or both! […]
