Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, birthdays, graduations…spring is full of ways to celebrate those you love! If you are in need of some inspiration for your next DIY gift-all made with your Silhouette-you are in the right place! I have put together my Seven Favorite Gifts to Make With a Silhouette Cameo just for you!
Family Photo Tile: I LOVE this project! It is so easy to customize, and a great use of those tiles you can find on clearance at the home improvement store!
DIY Monogrammed Coasters: This makes a great teacher, librarian, Sunday School teacher, etc. gift. It is so easy, inexpensive, and they turn out rather impressive! Use 651 vinyl from Expressions Vinyl for the most long lasting option. I made these for the twins’ middle school teachers. They have 4 teachers, and it was a thoughtful, personal, and fairly inexpensive gift.
DIY Shadowboxes: If you make these for gifts, I am sure you will be so impressed with yourself that you’ll make one for your very own! I absolutely love these! And, they are so easy! Of the 3, I would say that the “O Holy Night” one is probably the easiest. The manger requires very little weeding, and goes on nicely because it’s such a simple large cut. Then, you can choose a font that is easy to cut/weed for your text. You can put ANYTHING on a shadowbox, and completely personalize it for the occasion!
Patio Placemats and Drink Pitcher: These make a great wedding or bridal shower gift. One of our favorite things we got as a wedding gift was outdoor dishes. Putting vinyl on the drink pitcher and placemats is a GREAT project for a beginner, and it has a nice “WOW” factor to it.
Photo and Song Canvas Art: This project takes some patience, but is so worth it in the end! Add your favorite song lyrics, or quote, and it is perfect for any gift!
Personalized Easter Baskets I love giving a useful container as an Easter basket! Beach buckets, plastic bins, canvas bags, etc are so easy to personalize, and you can fill them with fun goodies!
Distressed Beach Sign: This is probably my FAVORITE project I have done. It was seriously so easy, and the first time I used vinyl as a stencil. Great as a housewarming gift, or for the sun and beach lover on your list!
