Spicy Party Pretzels
Spicy Pretzels are the absolute best party snack recipe. An easy combination of lemon pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder make the most delicious pretzel. These are perfect for holiday entertaining or a quick appetizer recipe.
Pretzels are my favorite snack, hands down. Alone, with cheese, in my popcorn, part of a snack mix. I love pretzels! These Spicy Party Pretzels are so addictive. My husband loves them while watching sports, and I love to make them as a quick snack or appetizer, particularly around the holidays.
Spicy Pretzels are the perfect “Go to” snack
These Spicy Party Pretzels are nothing short of addictive. They go so well with your favorite adult beverage, lemonade, soda, or just about anything. I have to say, spicy foods aren’t usually my “go to”, but these are mighty addicting and once I start eating them…no matter how much my mouth is on fire….I don’t want to stop. If you head to Pinterest and search for a spicy pretzel recipe, 99.999% of them have ranch dressing mix in them. Now, I am not “anti-ranch”, but it isn’t something I ever have on hand. And when sharing a recipe with you, on hand ingredients is one of my top priorities.
You’ll find yourself baking these up in about an hour, and snacking on them all.day.long. These also make a great homemade gift, as they keep well in an airtight container for quite awhile. Don’t be afraid to throw some in a mason jar or a cute cello-bag and gift them to your favorite bus driver, teacher, neighbor, etc.
Seasoned pretzels are easy to make
These pretzels are SO easy to make. Pretzels are one of the cheaper snacks you can buy at the store, and they are something I always have on hand. These only take an hour, with stirring about every 15 minutes. Also, they store REALLY well. That means you can make them ahead of time if you have a busy schedule, or even package them for small gifts.
I definitely prefer the twisted pretzel shape for these. I think they bake better, and hold the spices better.
Mix these up…you’ll be glad you did! And so will your party guests, and your family, and your bus drivers, teachers…..they are amazing! These little pretzels make snacking fun, and are so easy to put together with items you already have on hand!
You’ll find yourself baking these up in about an hour, and snacking on them all.day.long. Heat your oven to 200 degrees. Combine the oil and seasonings in a gallon size zip loc bag and then add the pretzels. Seal it tightly, and shake the bag a few times to evenly distribute the seasonings and oil. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 200 degrees for one hour. Be sure to stir them every 15 minutes to keep the spices distributed and to avoid burning the pretzels. This seems like a curling up in front of a movie and munch away kind of a snack.
It is! But, to be fair, I can’t eat A LOT of them. I like the spice….but not too much!
