The Top 10 Disney Restaurants for a Large Group

Via Napoli is my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World.  The wood fired pizzas, beautiful interior, and wonderful wait staff at Via Napoli make it a “must do” for us every Disney trip.  We love that authentic Italian atmosphere!  We tend to book a lunch reservation so we are out of the heat before getting back into the parks.  Today I am going to share with you why we love Via Napoli, as well as more Walt Disney World restaurants that are great for a large group!  Plus, check out more Disney Dining Top Ten lists from my Magical Blogorail friends on the June 2017 Top Ten Loop.  

Reason We Love Via Napoli #1:  The food is amazing.  Our favorite is the wood fired pizzas.  They serve authentic Neopolitan Pizzas, and they are SO good!  Via Napoli also serves classic Southern Italian dishes as well.    If pizzas aren’t your thing, then you can go for the lasagna, veal parmigiana, or various pastas.

Reason We Love Via Napoli #2:  Location, location, location! Via Napoli is located in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase.  I love it because it is tucked toward the back of the pavilion, away from the crowds.  Italy is somewhat centrally located in World Showcase.  So you can easily explore part of it, and stop for a meal.  Then venture on after eating.

 

Reason We Love Via Napoli #3:  The price is great for a crowd.  In my opinion, this is one of the places that it is good to pay out of pocket.  The price points range from $15-$39 for menu items.  However, since it is menu based, it is so easy to share a pizza, or a few pasta dishes, with those at your table.  Even if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, I think it makes sense to pay out of pocket here.

Reason We Love Via Napoli #4:  It is a great place for a large group.  The seating at Via Napoli is large, and open.  There are many tables for a larger group.  I think it is one of the “easier” places to get an Advanced Dining Reservation, as well.  Groups of 7-10, or even more, will find that Via Napoli is a great place to spread out and enjoy a fantastic meal.
