Top Five Meet and Greets for Boys at Walt Disney World

Welcome back to another day of “31 Days of Disney”!  I’m glad you are here!  We have visited Walt Disney World for many years with our twin boys, who are now 13. These cuties started going when they were four years old!  On our first trip with them, we focused so much on meeting the characters and getting autographs, because that is what they were interested in doing.  Fast forward a few years, and these handsome guys have grown into teens, who still love the Disney Parks, and don’t mind a character meal here and there.  Since I have seen Disney through the eyes of these boys for many trips, I want to share some Disney Character Meet and Greets for Boys!

Meet and Greet

Stitch Meet and Greet.  You can find this ornery alien at the Characterpalooza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or in Magic Kingdom often by the flagpole.  If you book a breakfast at ‘Ohana, at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, you are guaranteed to see him!  His orneriness, cute alien face, and mischievous ways make him a super fun meet and greet for boys!

Chip and Dale Meet and Greet.  These fun chipmunks are in several locations!  First, you can find them in Epcot, in Future World  They are usually outside The Land Pavilion, ready to meet guests.  Another great place to find them is at the Garden Grill character dining experience, also in Epcot.  These guys actually are in all four parks, so you are bound to run into them!  They are also found in Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom, Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom, and near Center Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  They like to play hide and seek, tease each other….and your kids….while taking photos, just be silly in general.

Buzz Lightyear Meet and Greet.  What boy doesn’t want to see the galactic superhero, Buzz Lightyear himself at Walt Disney World?  You can find this super awesome hero at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.  Where?  Outside the Toy Story themed rides~Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Toy Story Midway Mania.  Keep in mind he doesnt’ write….because he’s a toy.  So he will stamp your autograph book instead!

Buzz Matthew, Lucas, Woody

Goofy Meet and Greet.  We have to get one of the Fab Five on the list, right?  And I think Goofy is a great one for boys!  He is everywhere at Walt Disney World.  You can find him in all four parks, as well as at several character dining locations.  He’s a fisherman at Animal Kingdom, a circus star in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom, in his 1940s finest at Hollywood Studios, and his “normal” Goofy self at Epcot in the Character Spot.   Plus you will be able to meet him at Tusker House, Chef Mickey’s, Cape May Cafe, and Mickey’s Backyard BBQ.  He’s literally everywhere!

The Mad Hatter.  I know, he may not be at the top of the list for meet and greets for boys. But let me tell you.  When we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare with the Mad Hatter and his friends, my teenage boys laughed and giggled out loud when he came to our table.  They thought he was hilarious!  You can find him at breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, as well as at Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party.
