Universal’s Aventura Hotel
Universal’s Aventura Hotel is a modern, sleek, but family friendly resort at Universal Orlando. Shaped like a fidget spinner, with a beautiful rooftop bar, this Universal Orlando hotel offers all the onsite perks of a Universal Resort guest, with some modern touches.
Universal Orlando is a very popular family vacation destination. With the addition of Volcano Bay, new hotels in the last few years, and a guest friendly layout, Universal Orlando is becoming a more popular vacation spot for families. Mine included!Â
When planning your Universal Orlando trip, your hotel options are becoming broader and broader. Gone are the days of just three premier onsite hotels, or staying off site. Now, Universal has expanded their hotel offerings, including Universal’s Aventura Hotel, and today I am going to share why your family will love Universal’s Aventura Hotel.
Universal’s Aventura Hotel’s Location is Excellent
Universal Orlando is a well laid out property, and walkable for the most part. That is one thing I love about Universal Orlando….it is a completely walkable property! Universal’s Aventura Hotel is situated right outside of Volcano Bay! Guests of Aventura have their own walkway to Universal’s Volcano Bay, which is really great, and you can be there in about 5 minutes.
The panoramic views from Aventura are striking and beautiful! Each room has a view of one of the three amazing Universal Orlando theme parks! Plus as an onsite guest, you have access to great onsite Universal Orlando perks, like Early Park Admission. This makes Aventura’s close location ideal, especially for Harry Potter fans who want to get to the parks early!
The location is ideal, as well, to Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Why is this important? Because at Universal Orlando, you can pool hop! So even guests at the Aventura Hotel can walk over to Sapphire Falls and enjoy the pool. This gives your family lots of good options for afternoon breaks and evening entertainment when you return from the parks.
Universal’s Aventura Hotel is Modern and High Tech
I think this is one aspect that makes Aventura great for families with older children. Each room is equipped with a tablet. From the tablet, you can order room service, sign into your Netflix account, request more towels, change the room temperature….so fun! I know for certain that my teenagers would LOVE this feature.
Aventura also has a VR experience, right at the hotel! Games range from Fruit Ninja, Merry Snowballs, and more! In fact, they change the games frequently, so you can visit multiple times during your stay and not get bored. Again, this is a huge factor when traveling with kids ~particularly teenagers. I love having options at our resort for my kids to enjoy while we take a break from the parks or wait out a Florida thunderstorm.
Aventura Offers Great Nightly Rates
As a family of 5, we are always looking for a great hotel option that gives us plenty of space…without breaking our budget. Aventura is considered a Prime Value Hotel. This means that it does not participate in Express Pass, but the low nightly rates make it a fantastic option for families who want amazing, up to date accommodations without going over their vacation budget.
Aventura offers 575 square foot family suites, designed for plenty of sleeping space and comfort for everyone. As a mom of teenagers, this is SO important to me when choosing our family’s hotel options. The family suite features twin beds in a separate area for the kids, which is fantastic when your kids need their own sleeping surfaces.
The Food Offerings are Very Family Friendly
Aventura does not have a table service location onsite. However, the food court area couldn’t be more family friendly. They offer sushi, seafood, poke, burgers, pizzas…a little bit of everything! Kids love going from station to station to check out their options and make their own choices. Plus, for the teenagers in the group, there is an onsite Starbucks! Did you know that every Universal Orlando Resort has a Starbucks inside the lobby?
Aventura’s Theming is Slick and Simple
I think this makes it a fantastic option for families with teenagers, especially. Or, a family like ours that needs to please children of a broad age range.
Aventura is designed after a fidget spinner, both in shape and in some parts of the decor. Just look down at the carpet!
The decor is so calming, and not in your face theme park. That is something my teenagers appreciate about our resort choices when we travel. While they love the excitement and theming of the Universal parks, at the end of a park day or during our afternoon breaks, they appreciate simplicity and relaxation.
Universal’s Aventura Hotel is a great option for anyone who wants amazing views, unique dining, and convenient theme park access. With three amazing Universal parks to enjoy, it puts you in a great location to all of them, while also providing a retreat for your family to relax on your Universal Orlando vacation. Will you be booking Universal’s Aventura Hotel on your next visit?
